This weeks challenge ...

Our aim this week:  to have a house finished and ready for Dave, Stacey and little Isaac to move into on Saturday!!  I wonder if this is possible... the tiler, the plumber, the electrician, the floorlayer, the drainlayer, the benchtop manufacturer all been promising day after day and now they're all working over top of one another.  Tis fun in the building trade!
The outside is mostly finished, just bricks under the doorways and infill above main entrance door.  Then some fill and concrete and deck areas ...

Then there is an awesome array of 'stuff' to clear up on the inside ...  but the timber look vinyl is all down in the Kitchen/Dining/Family area and by tomorrow night the carpet will be finished.  Pantry is through the doorway seen in corner of Kitchen.  We'll sort the shelving in there once they've moved in and know what is going to work best.  Donating my chopping board and basket setup on wheels to them, as my new kitchen (when we renovate) hasn't the space for it.

There is nice space and views from the main Lounge on left to Family/Dining on right - once the dirt piles are flattened where the original house site was dug out.  And the carpet will be lovely once we can get rid of all the tradespeople and vacuum it!
Then there's the bathrooms - so far..

Last two pics are the EnSuite off main bedroom.  glass with sliding door to be fitted between shower and vanity.

Right, off to finish bottling Tomato & Onion with Capsicum & Basil.  Picked up two buckets of lovely big Tomatoes for $4 each on saturday, now have to do something with them, but enjoying eating them too.
