Saturday was a busy day, cleaning windows, hanging Isaacs curtains, lots of boxes to unload, cleaned the fridge and freezer out... until the time we had to go and pick up Grandad and take him home to do our own chores before Sunday. Andy helped Dad cart stuff in, Raelene helped bring stuff, Tim unloaded stuff, Derek helped Dave.... and so they had their first night, and now another one, and everyone seemed pretty happy. We took dinner out Sunday so Grandad could see the place, and there was so much room and not very much furniture, and everyone was smiling so that's a good start. Stacey apparently told Dave "we're not ever moving again" when asked how the shower was the first morning. There's a few things to do, and we'll iron out glass for the showers, mirrors, graphic glass for the kitchen and wardrobe organisers in the morning with the glassman and the joiner.
Some people were very relaxed ...
Some fluffed over their offspring ...
Isaac was loving his new nappy change table ...
And this is the view from his room that Mum is enjoying looking at while feeding ...
At the moment Isaac is sleeping in Mum & Dad's wardrobe!! I think the bedroom was too far away :)
After dinner, Dave had to make us some Zumo coffee while Stuart cleaned up some dishes...
Grandad was very happy to have a trip out to the farm and when we weren't looking managed to sneak a piece of cake - after he'd already had a biscuit..
So, we dunnit, but there's a fair bit of finishing off to do, but the Lord, Lady & Little Flowerday's are happy to have some space around them and be on their own for the first time in ? nearly 3 years.
Great photo of Grandad!
