January has passed me by ...

And I'm being reminded to update.. not sure where the time has gone.  It was lovely to see all the kids together at christmas /new year time.  Busy since with visitors and two on leave from the office this week, so feel like there's much to do and not enough hands.
Anyway, recapping christmas onwards...  old news as the kids already have done it :)

I loved the roses Matt & Amy picked for our centrepiece.  Really looked better than an old tree!

Brunch was Stuart & Beth's domain.  A close up of Blueberry Pancakes and fresh fruit.  Coffee followed.

Mark had the coffee making down to a fine art, and we went through a few bags of beans!
Next was Kate & Marks dinner - hot ham, butterfly lamb and roast veg with yummy glazed carrots and fresh beans.

Then not too long after high tea by Amy & Matt where the manly men had to use fingers with finesse! Passionfruit tarts, lamingtons, scones, rosewater meringues...

And what seemed like the very next minute...a BBQ tea at Dave & Staceys so Isaac could have his own bed, but due to inclement weather, cooking was indoors, and also a very lovely spread and cap to a great day.

Hence the reason why some couldn't fit in their chairs any longer..

And the following day due to all of the above, was mostly horizontal !!
