A visit was made by my youngest brothers family on the night they were going to halloween somewhere ..
Eunice, Aleisha and her beau.My beagle boy brothers posed with their pop in the place where they hatch all their schemes and meant to be working, and oldest bro showed his finesse at fixing Fords ..
And the next morning just after 6.30 dawned the nicest day and was able to see Egmont in all its glory. Had to stop a few places to grab a photo. Great trip home, traffic was busy, but the car handled that alright :)
Boat trip was reasonably long on your own, and thought I'd sleep but only seat was found underneath a large screen showing a movie at full volume. Was nice to arrive home and find you'd been missed by both husband and cat, and some lovely peonies and roses met me on the table. The blue bowl with silver rim was a lovely find in the back of the Laundry cupboard and belonged to Gran Murphy. The pewter set on the left belonged to Great Grandma Perry and was a wedding present. It is dated 1891 and Nana decided I could pack it in the car to come home as apparently I had told her some time back that my name was on them!
It was nice to find that the upholsterer had finally finished the wee suite, and young Ashleigh and Craig thought it christmas to sit on them sunday morning by themselves.

Wow your mini lounge suite is gorgeous!! Can out stunning. Beautiful roses, peonies and very nice pewter set also. When do I get the things I've put my name on??!
ReplyDeleteLove the mini lounge suite, looks great. Neat picture of Grandad and the boys. Tell Amy to keep her picky hands to herself.
ReplyDeleteHehehe to Amy :-) (Good luck with that!) ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the little lounge suite too - I can just imagine Craig & Ashleigh thinking themselves pretty cool!
