Busy weeks since Easter with lots of folks coming and going ..
A cool misty morning at the Nelson's Anzac Park dawn parade, and most of the kids were smiling. Stacey had Isaac as an excuse, and the other one was just plain lazy.
Eerie feeling standing there in the dawn light listening to the bugle and having a sense of what it must have been like during the war years just before another day of advancement or fighting or just surviving.
Two great grand-dads looking down on young life. Isaac wasn't real happy this day.
I went to get him from his sleep one day at home and this is what I found - a BIG bed with a little boy in it!
Isaac wasn't hugely happy about it this day either.
How much is that doggie in the window? His eyes match the outfit very well that he got from Great Aunty Mabel!
Thirty two years on and hardly a wrinkle or grey hair in sight (snort!).
A month away and about to head for home again. Still smiling :) just before all those soppy tears!
At least he still gets to wear the pants!!!
Stuart in talking to neighbour (with the bus) yesterday.... Neighbour says, wife has 6 kids around her - always doing something for them, I'm giving her 6 months, then I'm going on the road for a few months, and I'm going to say to her you can either come with me or not!! Wife just then shrilly calls his name, and he scurries away saying 'I must go' ....
Very nice, lovely photo of you and Dad, cute photos of Issac too. Hope you're not too lonely without all your vistors now. xxx
